Iowa Humane Alliance is a mission-driven, non-profit organization that focuses on high-volume, affordable, best practice spay and neuter surgeries at our Cedar Rapids regional clinic located in Iowa, America’s Heartland. We demonstrate a nonjudgmental approach when networking with our 25+ shelter and rescue partners, community cat caretakers, and pet parents. This, along with practicing our core values every day, has made Iowa Humane Alliance a successful organization that our community supports and relies on.
IHA’s clinic is a unique entity that introduced animal caretakers to new opportunities by providing high-quality care at an affordable price. Our rescue and shelter partners now have a consistent and reliable spay/neuter provider. Colony overseers now have an affordable solution to humanely controlling community cat populations. Pet owners living in under-resourced neighborhoods now have access to provide the basic care that all pets deserve.
As Iowa’s first high-volume clinic, we have performed over 113,000 surgeries since opening in 2013, but we are so much more than just a spay/neuter clinic.
