Iowa City Farmer’s MarketSaturdays, Sept 4thChauncey Swan Ramp, In front of the Iowa City City Hall, 410 E. Washington St. We’ll be tabling for the cause! Come see us to buy raffle tickets or animal message car magnets! We’ll have a display explaining our programs and the "Every Day is Spay Day" clinic campaign. IHA board members will be present to answer your questions. Little Paws Wine Tasting EventFriday, September 10th5:30 pm – 8:00 pm First Avenue Wine House – Cedar Rapids, IA Little Paws Dog Rescue has invited Iowa Humane Alliance and Animal Resource Foundation to attend their wine tasting to increase exposure for our spay and neuter efforts and raffle fundraiser. We will be attending to sell raffle tickets and answer any questions about our efforts to open a low-cost, high-volume spay and neuter clinic in the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City Corridor. Petco Adoption EventSeptember 1110am am - 3pm Petco Parking Lot in Cedar Rapids, IA> Join us at Petco for this wonderful event sponsored by the CR Petco. Animals will be available for adoption from many local rescue groups! IHA will have a display with lots of great information on our affordable spay/neuter programs, and will be selling our animal message car magnets. Register for a door prize and check us out. We will also be selling raffle tickets and tickets to Paws to Party!! Iowa Woman’s Music FestivalSeptember 18th, Noon – 6 pmUpper City Park, Iowa City Iowa Humane Alliance will be tabling at this event to raise awareness and gain supporters. We’ll be selling our animal message car magnets, raffle tickets and more. Please stop by, see our display and visit with us for awhile! Paws for a CauseSeptember 19th, Noon – 4 pmJohnson County Fairgrounds Iowa Humane Alliance will be tabling at this event, a benefit for the Iowa City Animal Center, to raise awareness and gain supporters. We’ll be selling our animal message car magnets, raffle tickets and more. Auction for the AnimalsSeptember 24th, 6 pm – 8 pmSiebke Hoyt Jewelers 4800 1st Ave SE, Cedar Rapids This will be our biggest event of the season! Wine, beer, wonderful finger food, adoptable animals, information booths on local animal services, and a silent and live auction will make this a night to remember. Our goal is to have this event put us over the top and complete our major gift campaign. Hosted by Tom Hoyt and Steve Gray, this will be a night to remember. Watch this site for more information! |
